Doodlebug is the working name for the SFR’s new steam locomotive. The idea was first bought up to utilize the third Keith Hardy boiler and patterns that were purchased along with the two steam locomotives. It will be very loosely based on a Kerr Stuart Skylark, but with outside frames and Walschaerts type valve gear and an enclosed cab. The overall dimensions are not dissimilar to the other two locomotives, and all the other dimensions will be the same as Pet.

It is currently under construction in the new erecting shed and updated photo’s will appear as and when things happen!
