Pioneer was built in 1947 by Ken Roswell, and is believed to have run on his private railway at Cross Elms, Bristol. From here it went to Brocklands ( formerly Pixieland) via a short stay with Trago Mills.

Originally powered by a Standard Ten engine, it now runs with a Fiat engine and gearbox.

The locomotive will be striped down, re-commissioned and restored, and regular updates will be posted on these pages.
