Pet was completed in 1999 by Keith Hardy.

It is based on a Kerr Stuart Wren, a small type of contractors locomotive built before the use of dumper trucks and diesel lorries for the construction of roads and large railways. The prototype would have been at home amongst the earth works, waiting to pull a train of small skip wagons, loaded with spoil by steam diggers or navies, out to an area for disposal and landscaping.

Again, built to 5/8 th. scale, it is a small locomotive compared to the loading gauge on other railways, but is perfectly formed, and able to pull many times her own weight.
